Habits of Successful personalities

I have listed below some habits which highly effective personalities inculcate in been successful at what they do.

 1. WRITTING DOWN

Writing down goals, aims and objectives enables us to clarify our needs. It also makes us committed to ourselves not forgetting the quote "the shortest pencil is better than the smartest memory" and also "Reduce your plan to writing, the moment you complete this you will have definitely given concrete form to the intangible desire"  Napoleon Hill

 2. BE FOCUSED

Focus is very key in time management, getting rid of everything that might distract you is a very important way of managing our time. Take a deep look of things that might just divert your attention whilst doing a thing and get them out of sight.

 3. PLAN AND PRIORITIZE TASKS

Planning the use of our time enables us to use that time more effectively, particularly when we are faced with several demanding tasks. Having a plan in place also means that we can gauge our progress and therefore gain satisfaction and motivation from the task. Don't just start acting anyhow, set priorities for each day using the ABCD category grid based upon urgency and importance:

A- Act Now

B- Better Earlier

C- Chase Later

D- Do, Delegate or Dump

 4. PREVENT PROCRASTINATION

Procrastination they say is the thief of time and also the enemy of success and achievements. People who are more effective get more done by doing things the right way.

 5. BE EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT

Getting in tune with your feelings and emotions is essential to understanding others emotional states and what impact you have upon them. Feelings and emotions are a precursor to action and we need to know what makes others act or not act in the ways they do.

 6. BE DECISIVE.

Being decisive about a countless number of daily events is far more effective than not standing your ground or not even making any decision. Individuals who do not know what they want in life or lack direction, or have no plan or suffer great stress will all have some difficulty in making good decisions.

 7. MAINTAIN SELF DISCIPLINE AND CONTROL

Taking a close watch on your thoughts and emotions is a precursor to control over your actions. Self-discipline is much easier when we have imbibed the core values and beliefs that make us who we are.

 8. BUILD TRUST

Building trust is like building a spider's web- it takes much time and skill to develop and yet can be destroyed in an instant. Build your ability to give trust in order to gain trust from people.

 9. WORK TOWARD A WIN-WIN SITUATION

In negotiation, both parties are at par when a win-win situation is met. Working towards a situation where each party gains something useful is preferable to those where one or more parties feel they have lost out or gained less. Great minds always work towards achieving a workable compromise.

 10. THINK POSITIVELY

Adopt a positive mental attitude to self and work. We are the person with control over the way we choose to think and we're what we think. Stay positive. Staying positive minded also help you improve your willpower i.e ability to do what has been planned even when the conditions are not so conducive.

 11. DEVELOP SELF CONFIDENCE

Developing self-confidence means adopting good practices in thinking, speaking and behaving. It is strongly reinforced by a sense of achievement and by positive feedback from others.

 12. KEEP A PEACEFUL MIND

A peaceful mind can think better than a worked up mind. Allow a few minutes of silence to your mind every day, and see, how sharply it helps you to set your life the way you expect it to be.

But lastly, never omit the GOD factor, nothing can be done successfully without God been invited into it, I repeat nothing.
