Information reaching "BushFM" indicates that the president is set to appoint the former Gov. Of Anambra state Mr Peter Obi, as the minister of state for Education following the resignation of Mr Nyesom Wike, the former minister. 
Also, our source inside the villa confided in "BushFM" that the Presidency is also considering a former EFFC Boss Malam Nuhu Ribadu, who recently defected to the PDP from the APC as the minister of state for Defence. However, some of the party hierarchy are still sceptical about Nuhu Ribadu since he is still under scrutiny.

Police Officers Fired For Kissing In Public.

When is it OK to kiss a colleague? Two Tanzanian police officers, whose kiss was widely shared on

social media, have prompted a discussion about just that - and both have also lost their jobs.

A relationship with a colleague can throw up any number of complications, but the two young police officers in the picture may not have thought it would end their careers. The photograph - taken in Kagera, north west Tanzania - shows the pair kissing whilst dressed in their work uniforms, and was considered grounds for dismissal. Residents of the country have taken to social media to voice their dismay.

The image was uploaded to the internet by a third officer, who also took the photo, and drawn to the attention of the authorities at the Kagera police force. Henry Mwaibambe, the regional police

commander, spoke to the BBC about the steps taken, and defends his department's decision. "We

followed all disciplinary procedures to make sure that they were given a chance to defend themselves," he says. "The officer looking at the case was convinced there was compelling

evidence against them, and that they had breached police code of conduct. That's why they lost their jobs." In this case it wasn't the kiss itself that led to their dismissal, but the fact that that it happened in public, whilst in uniform, and was subsequently posted online. Indeed, the officer behind the camera also lost his job over the incident.

The story was picked up by the local press last week, and news of the punishment has surprised

many on social media. Most believed the response was disproportionate. "They should have been

reprimanded, sacking them is extreme, huuh!" posted one on Facebook . "I once saw a pic of

former US President the late Reagan kissing his wife in the Oval Office... and nobody called for his

impeachment," said another. "Police couple kissing taken more serious than bribery," wrote a

third on Twitter. Masoud George, a lawyer at the Tanzania Legal and Human Rights Center says that as severe as the punishment seems, the decision is unlikely to be illegal. "It is according to their code of conduct, so from a legal point of view we can't say their

dismissal was unfair," he tells the BBC.

2015: Atiku Picks Apc’s Presidential Form For N27.5m **Oridinary Form**

ABUJA- In a move that showcases his determination to seek nomination as the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC, former Vice President, Atiku Abubukar yesterday picked the presidential expression of interest and the presidential nomination forms of the party.
The cost of the forms was totaled N27.5m. While the presidential form was purchased at N25m, the expression of the interest form cost N2.5m.
In a brief ceremony held at APC’s national secretariat, Atiku who was accompanied by his campaign organization’s Director-General and former minister of aviation, Professor Babalolo Borishade amid other supporters said it was important to accord every person his democratic right under the party.

Jackson Namunga Ali, a Kenyan nurse, was recently sentenced to death by hanging for the death of a young woman he aided in procuring an abortion. The young lady bled to death in 2009 while in the care of the nurse after a botched abortion. Judge Nicholas Ombija said the court had established that the accused caused the death of the woman and as such would be convicted for murder of the mother and the foetus too. This case has reignited the abortion debate in Kenya bringing up the age old question as to whether or not it should be legalised.

Abortion is illegal in Kenya; the Kenyan Constitution prohibits it. It may only be carried out when in the opinion of a trained health professional: there is need for emergency treatment, or the life or health of the mother is in danger, or if permitted by any other written law. Only one trained health personnel is required to certify that an abortion is necessary. However this law does not in any way deter women from procuring abortions.

Catholic Priest Wakes Up From Coma After 17 Months, Converts To Islam

A catholic priest from the island of Java in Indonesia who has woken up from a 17 month long coma has converted himself to Islam after the man claims Allah spoke to him and showed him “the beauty of the heavens”.

The 87-year old priest from Spain has lived and preached on the island for more then 43 years and is fluent in Javanese and various dialects of the different ethnic groups of the island and is a well known and respected figure amongst all religious groups of the area.

The man who has suffered a cardiac arrest while helping local volunteers to fix the roof of his own church and fell an incredible two stories high has managed to survive and come out of his coma, in brittle shape, yet a changed man.

Never once have I read the Quran but God spoke to me and asked me to follow him to the heavens and the Holy light shone through my entire being and behold the golden gates of heaven appeared before me and God told me his name and it was Allah” told the newly convert to a journalist of the Kalimantan Press.

The man who miraculously suffers no spinal injury should be able to walk soon, admits the physician who took care of him at South Jakarta’s Metropolitan Medical Centre. “This must be the strongest 80-year old I have ever seen. His bones should be smashed to pieces” ponders Jim Won May, who has practiced medecine for over twenty years. 

His conversion to Islam took most of his church followers by surprise, but interestingly enough, already half of his christian followers have showed interest in converting to Islam. “If Allah is the true God, I don’t want to be misled in the wrong direction on judgement day. I trust Father Eduardo. We all believe in him” explains one of his followers.

The priest who is still under medical attention has already ordered the construction of a new mosque and his followers are already hard at work to find the funds necessary for the task. “We owe it to Father Eduardo for all he has done for us” comments one of the devotees of the old catholic church, that is now for sale.

Maku Confirms Quitting Jonathan’s Cabinet October 20

The Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, on Sunday confirmed that he would quit the Federal Executive Council on October 20.
He said his decision to cease to be a minister is to allow him pursue his ambition of becoming the governor of Nassarawa State in 2015.
He spoke during a thanksgiving service he organised at St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish, Akwanga.
The Punch had reported exclusively on September 26 that at least, six ministers may quit President Goodluck Jonathan’s cabinet in October as preparations for the 2015 general elections peak.
In the report, Maku was listed among ministers who are expected to resign their appointments in order to pursue their governorship ambitions on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Confirming the report, Maku said by October 20, all members of the FEC who are interested in pursuing their ambitions would step down.
He said he had made up his mind to sacrifice the comfort of the office he currently holds in order to join his people in the wilderness.
