Yesterday EFCC officials froze one of the bank accounts
of Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose. Many Nigerians are now questioning the legality
of the antigraft agency freezing the account of a sitting governor
since he has immunity that is provided by the constitution. Others are supporting EFCC's move, accusing Fayose of antagonizing
the government of the day. Some other Nigerians are asking if the EFCC
obtained a court order giving them the authority to freeze his account.
