We were overwhelmed with the response from across the nation and diaspora. We received thousands of votes from our online & SMS polls. Here are some interesting points to note:
- We made sure to try and remove position bias by randomizing the order of pictures every time someone voted. That way, no candidate could claim they had a disadvantaged position in the poll
- There were votes from EVERY state in Nigeria
- Duplicate votes (where one person voted more than once) were disqualified
- Also, votes where the same person was chosen as Presidential & Vice-Presidential candidate were disqualified
